This page describes who owns and runs Journal of Educational Science and Development, how editorial decisions are made and how the journal is financed, in line with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

Ownership and publisher

Journal of Educational Science and Development is owned and published by PT RARAMEDIA INDONESIA. The publisher provides the infrastructure, staff and funding the journal needs and supports the editors' independence.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made by the editor-in-chief and the editorial team alone, based on scholarly merit. The publisher, sponsors, advertisers and funders have no influence on them.

Editorial board

  • The editorial board consists of recognised experts in the journal's field. Their full names, affiliations and countries are listed on the Editorial Team page.
  • Board members advise on the journal's direction, handle manuscripts, review, and promote the journal.
  • Members are appointed by the editor-in-chief for a fixed term and may be reappointed. The board is reviewed regularly to keep it active, diverse and international.

Policies and their review

The journal's policies are published on this site and reviewed regularly by the editorial board. Significant changes are announced on the journal's website.

Revenue sources

The journal's costs (peer review management, editing, typesetting, DOIs, hosting and preservation) are covered as shown on the publication fees page and, where applicable, by the publisher, institutional support or grants. Revenue sources never affect editorial decisions.

Publishing schedule

The journal publishes issues according to the frequency shown on its About page. Articles may be published online as soon as they are ready.
